Formerly the Millenium Dome, the rebranded 02 Arena now plays host to a variety of sporting events, gigs, exhibitions and other special events.
Street parking spaces in this London area is at an extreme premium and so parking in a secure car park is necessary when paying a visit to the 02 Arena. The Arena provides a number of official car parks for visitors to use, which are situated within a short walking distance of the venue. These car parks are open 24 hours a day and whilst not cheap, offer secure and reliable parking, with CCTV in operation, along with floodlighting and car park attendants. These car parks are in high demand and so pre booking a parking space is strongly advised. Payment can be made by either credit or debit card, or by cash.
Disabled parking is available at the official 02 Arena car parks, which is offered at a 50% discount. Motorbikes and bicycles can be parked/secured in car parks 2 and 4.
There are unofficial car parks operating in the area, which may not necessarily be as convienient, but can be far cheaper. A car park at North Greenwich tube station, managed by National Car Parks (NCP) offers such parking close to the Arena.
Alternatively, parking in a south London suburb and taking public transport to the event could save money and hassle.
Disabled parking is also available at the official car parks
