Parking at Old Trafford

The home of Manchester United Football Club and host to other events, the "Theatre of Dreams" is visited by hundreds of thousands of people each year. Street parking is extremely restricted around and near to the ground due to its location in a residential area. A residents parking scheme is in operation in the area also. Therefore, its is strongly advised that you book a parking space from a company before you arrive.

There are a number of privately run car parks in the vicinity of Old Trafford and there is usually some parking available at the Old Trafford cricket ground. It's best to shop around for a cheap price and to take the security credentials of each car park into consideration. It is highly likely that if you park some distance from the ground, that despite being able to take public transport to the ground before the match, you will be unable to do so after the match, as no buses go near the ground after matches.
