The historic Ashes tour commences this summer, with the first test at Lords taking place from the 16th - 20th July. A capacity crowd will inevitably lead to difficulties in finding a car parking space on the day. No official parking is provided by Lords Cricket Ground and no on street parking is available around the ground, with offending vehicles receiving fines or being towed away.
However, a number of private parking operators offer parking close to the cricket ground on matchdays. St John's wood offers a day's parking for £20, which is only a few minutes away from the ground by foot. There are 3 NCPs which operate in the area within a mile of Lords also, with the cheapest charging £20 for a days parking. It is worth checking whether the car park offers overnight parking if you are drinking at the cricket match.
