Like all London attractions, it can be very difficult to gain a parking space nearby, with little or no street parking available, with clamping and fines punishing parking violations. However, some public car parks are available near to the Natural History Museum, such as the Union car park, which is less than ten minutes away. However, car parks in London can get very booked up close to the museum, especially during school holidays and bank holidays. Therefore, booking a parking space well in advance is strongly advised.
Looking at several car parking providers in the area is recommended, including nearby NCPs, due to parking spaces being costly in the area, in order to find the cheapest. It should also be noted that the Natural History Museum is situated in a congestion charging zone.
