The world famous tennis championships commence on the 22nd June and continue through to the 5th July. With almost 500,000 people predicted to attend the tournament over the two weeks scheduled, planning where to park your car is a priority. The sheer number of people driving to the Wimbledon Championships makes booking a car parking space a must, which will ensure a parking space being available, and will also save hassle on the day.
The All England Tennis club offers a number of official car parks at Wimbledon, and also offer a park and ride option. Both are priced in the range of £15-£25, depending on the size of the type of vehicle. Coach, minibus, motorcycle and disabled parking are all catered for, with bicycle parking being provided free of charge. Coaches are not permitted to set down passengers outside of the ground.
Parking in the streets around the tenis club is not permitted, with offending vehicles being clamped or towed. Parking on streets further away is possible early n the morning, but will require time being set aside for making your way to the ground by foot.
